The cottage is very isolated and is 10-15 minutes walk from the nearest road. It has no electricity and no mains water supply.
The accommodation in the main cottage comprises:-
Sitting Room/Bedroom: This has a double sofa-bed and a single bed, a table and comfortable chairs. It is heated by a wood-burning stove.
Kitchen / Dining Room: This contains a solid fuel Rayburn which can be used to provide hot water in the water system (via a back boiler), generate warmth and for cooking. There is also a gas cooker as an alternative means of cooking, a portable gas heater (which can be used to provide warmth as required) and a dining table and chairs.
Bathroom: This contains a bath, flushing toilet and handbasin.
Porch / Sun room: On the front of the cottage is a sizeable sun room/porch offering wonderful views of the surrounding area.
In addition to the main cottage there is a separate chalet containing two single beds and an extra folding bed.
